These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of solar panel installation and maintenance services by Jotisu. By instructing Jotisu to carry out a survey, quotation, installation or maintenance visit, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

An order is initiated when you request a quotation or survey through our website, by phone, or by email. Following an initial assessment of your property, Jotisu will provide a written quotation setting out the scope of work, estimated timescale and price.
A contract between you and Jotisu is only formed once you accept the written quotation in writing (by email or signed document) and Jotisu confirms the booking in writing. Verbal agreements or informal discussions do not constitute a binding order. Jotisu reserves the right to decline any order, for example where a site survey reveals the property is unsuitable for the proposed installation.
All prices quoted are in pounds sterling (GBP) and, unless stated otherwise, include VAT at the applicable rate. Prices are valid for the period stated on the quotation and may be revised if the scope of work changes after a further site survey.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a quoted price for installation includes:
Scaffolding, roof repairs, upgrades to the electrical consumer unit, or any work outside the agreed scope are not included unless specifically listed on the quotation. Payment terms (deposit, staged payments, or payment on completion) will be set out in the quotation. Payment is due by the method and date specified on the invoice.
If you are a consumer and the contract was agreed away from our business premises (for example, following a home visit) or at a distance, you generally have the right to cancel within 14 days of accepting the quotation, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. To cancel, please notify us in writing at [email protected] before work has commenced. If you request that installation begins within the 14-day period, you may still be liable to pay for work already carried out and materials already ordered on your behalf.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us at [email protected] with details of your complaint. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to resolve it fairly and within a reasonable timeframe. Any faults with installed equipment should be reported as soon as they are identified so that we can arrange an inspection.
Jotisu will perform all services with reasonable care and skill, in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where applicable. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to the above, Jotisu's liability for any loss or damage arising from the services is limited to the total price paid for the relevant installation or maintenance work. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of energy savings or third-party incentive payments, except where such loss arises directly from our negligence.
Our website sets one cookie, named cookie_pref, which stores your cookie consent choice for a period of one year. No analytics, tracking or advertising cookies are set on this site by default. Advertising measurement is only activated after you give consent, and only on the order confirmation page. Your personal data is handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
